BiologGENⅢ微生物鉴定分析仪拥有目前世界上最大的数据库，可以鉴定包括细菌、酵母和丝状真菌总计超过2650种微生物，几乎涵盖了所有常见的人类、动物、植物病原菌以及食品和环境微生物。

鉴定板由读数仪自动读取吸光值，软件自动判断结果为阴性、阳性或边界值，自动与数据库比对，给出鉴定结果。实验结果可由系统进行自动分析、记录和打印。
